Dr Bassaam Najjaar earned his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) from the University of Cape Town in 2010. After completing his internship at Livingstone Hospital, Dora Nginza Hospital and Port Elizabeth Provincial Hospital, he completed his community service with the South African Military Health Service in Cape Town.

With a background as a General Practitioner in various private practices in Cape Town, Dr Najjaar has diversified his experience. He served as a Medical Officer in Urology, a field specialising in the diagnosis and treatment of the urinary tract and male reproductive system pathologies, within the state sector. He also worked as a Medical Officer in Oncology in both the private and state sectors, focusing on cancers and treatment. Dr Najjaar's career includes roles as an Emergency Doctor in a trauma unit and service in an Urgent Care facility in Dublin.

He has a keen interest in aesthetic medicine, collaborating with Bonita Hair Clinic to offer aesthetic and surgical hair transplant services at ClaremontGP.

Currently serving as the resident Medical Practitioner at ClaremontGP, Dr Najjaar leverages his extensive experience to provide comprehensive healthcare and wellness services to his patients.
